Design and development for an organization dedicated to supporting freelance worker rights
Freelancer’s Union specialized in advocacy for contract workers. Their Freelancer’s Union Insurance Company provided health insurance coverage to many freelancers worldwide. I worked as one of their in-house designers and front-end developers. During my time there, I designed many web initiatives for them, including the New Mutualism interactive map, The World’s Longest Invoice app, many digital ads, and countless icons for various projects.
A large part of my time was spent building web apps based on vendor designs, including the updated Freelancer’s Union website and the Health Republic suite of websites based on the Affordable Care Act.
